What are the costs involved to hire CPCI for cargo claims?
CPCI will handle all recoveries on a contingent basis with no cost to you. We don’t get paid unless we recover from the responsible party. Most expenses associated with your claims are recovered from the proceeds paid the carrier not from you.
Can CPCI offer training to our company so our claims department will be able to identify a cargo claim that is good for recovery?
Yes, CPCI does offer an extensive training program with your staff. This program will cover all aspects of trucking, ocean, rail and air claims and how to interrupt the bills of lading and international agreements that govern your shipments.
Does CPCI assist companies with a “Claims Management” program?
Yes, CPCI can assist your company with developing standards for handling your claims, and the most efficient way to handle your claims and to identify these claims for recovery action. CPCI also can assist you with developing a reporting system for your claims and reports that will identify your losses and the carriers that are responsible for mishandling your cargo.
Can CPCI assist me with other cargo related matters and
CPCI handles a wide range of cargo issues, from claims, training, Export Control & Compliance which includes C-TPAT certification to include a supply chain manual, Customs Compliance, and to assisting you with cargo contracts with your carriers. The costs for the other cargo related issues vary depending on the scope of the project.
